So why am I so passionate about Plexus Slim? I will tell you why… for years I have been battling year round allergies, sinusitis, asthma, eczema, low metabolism, abdominal bloating, fatigue, and many other digestive problems. After years of wondering “what in the world is wrong with my body?”, I found the answer. The problem was Candida, or fungal overgrowth in my intestines. What is scary is that many people have this problem and don’t realize it. As the years go by the symptoms get worse and other diseases develop as a result of it. “Leaky Gut” is a term used when the lining of our intestines is weakened by fungal overgrowth and bacteria, toxins, and allergens enter our blood stream. As a result many people develop auto-immune diseases such as asthma, rheumetory arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, type 2 diabetes, etc. I am convinced that is where I was headed.
Since I’ve started taking the Plexus products, I’ve noticed a drastic improvement in my body. At first noticed how great I felt, with lots of energy. Second I became “regular”, and my cravings for sugar diminished and eventually completely disappeared. The stomach bloating was gone, and my clothes started fitting much better. My sinus cleared up and I could breathe again, and finally my eczema was healed up without the steroid cream! My body was beginning to function the way it was meant to and almost magically the pounds started coming off! The first week 5lbs, the second week another 5lbs, by the end of the month I had lost 18lbs and gone from size 14/16 to a size 10!
Unbeknownst to me, I was combating Candida head on with my new found Plexus products, and with my veggie, no sugar or carbs diet, and I was winning! I did have some minor side effects like acne break outs, oily hair, and sweating, all which are very common when detoxing, but nothing major. Plus the results well override what small side effects of Candida “die-off” I might have.

Dear Friends,

I am found with a heavy heart as I write this letter to you. As of December 18, 2011 my wife and I will be relinquishing the role of your Pastor and Shepherd in order to allow room for God’s continued will in our lives and the ministry of Provence A/G. I leave with a peace knowing you will be well cared for by the ministry team still in place and in time the new Pastor of God’s choosing.

The decision to move has not been a rash one, or an easy one. We really feel as though we have been separated for a purpose and not just a relocation. this has been a process and not an ill considered decision. We have covered our steps in prayer and followed the leading of the Holy Spirit to the best of our ability. There have been many confirmations throughout this last season that have helped us come to this crossroads and make our decision. We believe the Lord has called us come to this crossroads and make our decision. We believe the Lord has called us to a new place for a new season in our still developing ministry as well as orchestrated this whole process. We also hold true that He has prepared a shepherd for you. Provence Assembly of God will continue to be a light in this community as long as there is a people here who will honor God and allow him to be glorified.

In closing, I would like to assure you that I am leaving for no other reason than God’s leading and God’s best for all of us. If you hear of any other reason for our departure it did not come from us and is not the truth. Be sure to pray for one another as you pray for us as well. Ready your hearts to receive a new Pastor and their family. Trust God in all things and do everything possible to keep the unity among you.

Heartbreaking Tearjerker of the Day: Gordon Yeager, 94, and his wife Norma, 90, lived together for 72 years. Last week, after a tragic car accident, they died together, one hour apart, holding hands.

The couple got married in 1939, the day Norma graduated from high school. They lived their whole lives in the small town of State Center, Iowa, where they raised four children.

“Staying together for 72 years is good, I’d say that’s exceptional,” daughter Donna Sheets said. “They always did everything together. They weren’t apart. They just weren’t.”

True to their nature, the Yeagers were together last Wednesday at the intersection of Highway 30 and Jessup Avenue outside Marshalltown, where their car struck another car head on. They were brought into the ICU of Marshalltown’s hospital together, holding hands.

Gordon passed away shortly thereafter.

“It was really strange, they were holding hands, and dad stopped breathing but I couldn’t figure out what was going on because the heart monitor was still going,” son Dennis Yeager told KCCI. “But we were like, he isn’t breathing. How does he still have a heart beat? The nurse checked and said that’s because they were holding hands and it’s going through them. Her heart was beating through him and picking it up.” Norma passed away an hour later.

“Neither one of them would’ve wanted to be without each other,” said Sheets. Added Yeager: “They just loved being together.”

My reflection of 9/11

I have been watching 9/11 videos since last night and takes me back to when it all happened. We were living in Duncan at the time. My babies were small Josiah was 7, Sarah was 5, Nomi was 3 and Isaiah was 1. The babies were watching their normal PBS programming when a friend called and told us to turn our television to the local news. We sat there watching these horrific scenes unfold before our eyes. I felt so vulnerable and scared. All I could do was call on the name of Jesus. I can’t help but feel the same way now. Not so much scared, but vulnerable knowing that we are very much mortal and that we are not promised tomorrow. May we all seek the Lord while He may be found, and forgive those who have wronged us along the way. God bless our nation and bring healing. This is my 9/11 prayer. Amen

I also feel this scripture is also very fitting.

God says it’s time to take out the trash! I don’t like trash it’s gross, smelly and germ infested and it must be taken out daily. Maggots and bacteria grow in these filthy environments. In Scripture God tells the Israelites to keep the trash outside the tent in order to prevent sickness and disease from going into the camp. Spiritually speaking garbage can be anything that makes unclean and unholy. These things left unattended or ignored becomes a brewing place for all kinds of spiritual sickness.

Ephesians 4:29-32 says”Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. ³⁰ And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. ³¹ Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. ³² Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Do you have garbage that needs to be taken out? Take a close look in the area of hurt or offence, which left to itself festers into bitterness and anger. Have you forgiven those whom have offended you or talked bad about you? It’s time to take out the trash! Remember to do this daily in order to keep your heart clean and spotless before the Lord and to avoid spiritual sickness.
